Ingredients for potato chicken soup

      10-15 chicken wings
      Coriander root
      10-15 black peppercorns
      1-2 potatoes, peeled and diced
      1-2 carrots, peeled and cut into bite-sized pieces
      1-2 onions, peeled and diced
      6 large tomatoes, diced (choose the hard ones so they won’t fall apart when cooked)
      Coriander
      1-2 tablespoons fish sauce
      1 tablespoon salt
      1 tablespoon sugar

How to make potato chicken soup?


     1. Put water in a pot, about 1/2 pot, and boil over medium heat (the size of the pot depends on how much water you like). The water doesn’t have to be exact.
     2. Add chicken wings, coriander root, black peppercorns, potatoes, and carrots and boil (add these two things first because they take longer to cook. Wait for the tomatoes and onions first.)
     3. Boil until the water boils. Frequently skim off air bubbles and fat. (Once it boils, bubbles and chicken fat will float to the surface. Skim off the foam and fat to keep the soup clear, not cloudy, and shiny.)
     4. Season with fish sauce, salt, sugar, and seasoning powder. Then stir gently (do not stir for too long or it will become mushy. For those who choose soup cubes, add them together with the chicken.) Taste and adjust the seasoning as you like. Then add the tomatoes and onions and boil again until the vegetables are cooked. Ladle into a bowl, sprinkle with coriander and serve.
